Casa Celeste : From the Owner

In 2002, in my effort to relocate from the U.S. to Costa Rica and having traveled much of the coastal areas for many years as a surfer, I decided upon the beaches of Nosara. I spent an appreciable amount of time looking at a myriad of real estate options to find the best property for my personal needs. I purchased property in Guiones and Pelada but it wasn't until I found a unique property in Esperanza, just outside of the American Project. It was here that I decided to invest and build a house.

What attracted me to this property was primarily the ocean view and the proximity of being 2 minutes drive to the Guiones main surfing beach. There were so many advantages of purchasing property in the Esperanza community. First, our property would be serviced by a private well and that would allow water at all times. Second, the property was located within a community of security minded people. Thirdly, the property had a clean and clear title.

The property's value was further enhanced in my mind by: it's size (1.3 acres), it's multiple building sites, complete hilltop privacy above the ¬®dust line¬®, a plethora of wildlife and nearly constant fresh breezes. Having enjoyed living on this property for the last 14 years, its time to move on to other projects both here in Nosara and Popoyo, Nicaragua.
